Using a Teaching Pro to Learn to Golf

Golf is best learned in stages so it is important that you learn from someone who understands those stages and how to teach what is most important. Get the grip or stance wrong at the start and your game will not be fun or enjoyable. Golf looks simple – the ball just sits there waiting to be hit. But your body is not simple – there are thousands of parts. The challenge is to start with those parts in the right places and then, more difficult is to move everything the right way to hit the ball to the right place. Once you get it right the first time, an even bigger challenge is to do it again and again and again!

Watching on TV, hitting a few balls with your friends at a driving range, reading or watching a video usually doesn’t produce a good golfer or an enjoyable experience. Duck hooks and massive slices abound. But if you start with staged lessons from a certified teaching PGA professional, you’ll experience success and enjoyment golfing.

Frustrated because your game has reached a plateau – better equipment, nice clothes, anger won’t fix it. Those muscle habits are well engrained. All is not lost – a certified teaching PGA Pro can check your basics, correct those that are needed and you can get back to enjoying the game again. Be smart and call your local teaching PGA pro today.
